* 3 ounces castor oil
* 6 ounces cocoa butter
* 12.4 ounces olive oil
* 15 ounces veg shortening
* 9.6 ounces sunflower oil
* 1 ounce wheatgerm oil
* 1 ounce macadamia oil
* 1 ounce glycerin
* 2 ounces powdered buttermilk
* 3 ounces honey
* 18 ounces frozen buttermilk, full fat
* 6 ounces lye
Makes 3 pounds. Measure out 18 fluid ounces buttermilk and put into an ice cube tray. Freeze for a few hours or overnight. Take out of freezer and allow to get slushy. Add lye to half buttermilk, mix, wait a bit, then add the rest of buttermilk. Melt solids in microwave, then add to crockpot. Melt all oils except glycerin, macadamia and wheat germ in crockpot on low or med. Combine lye mixture into oils in crockpot. Proceed as normal. Mix powdered buttemilk into glycerin and macadamia and wheat germ oils. Mix with the honey and add just before pour. I let it cure for a few days before using. Very nice.
