1 heaped tablespoon kaolin or fuller’s earth powder
2 tablespoons water
1/2 teaspoon clear honey
1 drop Lavender
1 drop Geranium
If your skin is very greasy, you may safely leave the mask on until it dries; however, if you have dry skin, the mask should be removed after 5-10 minutes. To remove the mask, just soak cotton wool in warm water and wipe over the face, taking off the clay, and continue to use fresh pieces of cotton wool until the face is clean.
When all traces of the mask have been removed, gently swab the skin with cotton wool soaked in floral water and finally apply a little facial massage oil to the skin or pat on a little Rose body perfume. Facial masks should not be used too frequently as they will draw out not only impurities form the skin, but also the skin’s natural oils, and overuse will cause dry skin to become even drier. Probably the optimum frequency of use is once a month.
